August 13, 2015			German championship to celebrate 50th anniversary
			The 2015-2016 season will mark the 50th edition of the basketball championship in Germany. This is why the German League, BBL, has adapted the logo to the ocassion. The 2015-16 Beko BBL championship will start on Thursday October 1 with the Alba Berlin v ratiopharm Ulm opening game, and action will follow in days ahead with two games scheduled for Friday October 2, three matches on October 3 and another four on Sunday, October 4.
