French League signs new TV deal
The French League ( LNB ) has announced that, after Canal+ discontinued Sport+ channel, it has reached an exclusive agreement with Numericable - SFR group for the rights of the LNB competitions until June 2020, that's next five seasons.

Ma Chaine Sport, available at Numericable and Canalsat, will air two weekly games of the Pro A championship, on Saturday and Monday, plus a weekly 52-minute magazine.

The deal also grants that 12 Pro A games will be aired during the season free-to-the air through L'Equipe 21 channel, on Saturdays at 20:30. Together with these matches also the Leaders Cup Final, the Alain Gilles LNB Show and the All Star will be available to all fans at no cost.

To LNB President Alain Béral, " the signing of this agreement with a partner of this quality is very good news for French basketball. The promotion and diffusion of the League will be historic. It will indeed enable a greater number of fans to follow the LNB via a single subscription, but also thanks to the free window of L'Equipe 21. The power of the SFR network throughout France reinforces our commitment to being accessible and close to the viewers and fans at the forefront of new technologies. The evolution of the TV rights shows the positive work of our clubs and our players in recent years ".
