December 2, 2014			Alexander Reil elected BBL President
			Alexander Reil, 47 ( photo ), is the new President of the Basketball BundesLiga in Germany. The Chairman of Ludwigsburg club won the election against his competitor, Dr. Hans-Jürgen Appelrath and will succeed Dr. Thomas Braumann, who presided over the League since September 2006 until June 2014. Reil, who has served as acting President following the resignation of Dr. Thomas Braumann in June, will have Marco Baldi and Robert Wintermantel as vicepresidents. . Alexander Reil, who's a member of the League Board since 2008, thanked the club representatives for their confidence. " Essentially I'll work to continue with the positive development of the clubs and the League consistently, in order to achieve our ambitious goals for the coming years.
