 12 clubs sign in to play the Tauron Basket Liga
Twelve clubs have applied in due time for a license to play in the top professional basketball championship in Poland next season.

Applications have been received in the League office from 11 teams that played last season in the championship: Anwil Wloclawek, Asseco Prokom Gdynia, AZS Koszalin, Energa Czarni Slupsk, Jezioro Tarnobrzeg, Kotwica Kolobrzeg, PGE Turów Zgorzelec, Polpharma Starogard Gdanski, Rosa Radom, defending champion Stelmet Zielona Góra and Trefl Sopot ( names from the 2012/2013 season ). The League has also received the interest from Startu Gdynia.

The League has also informed that WKS Slask Wroclaw, winner of the 2012 - 2013 first division also has the right to play in the Tauron Basket League.

Clubs will now submit all the necessary documentation. In accordance with the PLK Rules of Competitions, the decision on whether a license is granted to every club will be taken on July 26.
