ULEB CUP Draw results!!!

The stage is set! The draw for the first edition of the ULEB Cup for the 2002-03 regular season, has finished today in Barcelona, and the four groups that will give life to the first phase of the competition are already known. The teams will start a round-robin 10-game schedule on October 15.

The first four teams of each group will advance to the Second Phase which will be eliminatory. The teams qualified in first place of their groups, will face the teams in fourth place, even though there will be a second draw to decide which will be the matchups. On their turn, the teams that rank second in their groups will follow the same system to face third-placers. In eighth-finals, quarter-finals and semifinals, the teams will play two games, home and away. The final will also be played in two games after the change in the competition system, accepted by the representatives of the clubs before the draw. The final games will be played on April 15 and 24.
