LNBA League 
The thirteen BBL teams play in three major competitions, the Dairylea Dunkers Championship, the uni-ball trophy and the Sainsbury's Classic Cola National Cup.
The ultimate prize of the Championship crown is decided through cross-conference playoffs, culminating in the Dairylea Dunkers Championship final at Wembley Arena in May. The uni-ball trophy and Sainsbury's Classic Cola National Cup are the sport's two knock-out competitions. For these the 13 BBL teams are joined by the top three sides from the lower ranking National Basketball League. The 16 teams in the uni-ball trophy are split into four groups with teams playing their group rivals home and away. The top two from each group progress to the knockout stages. The quarter and semi-finals and are one-off games played at neutral venues with the uni-ball trophy final being staged at the prestigious National Indoor Arena, Birmingham. The Sainsbury's Classic Cola National Cup is a straight knock-out competition and again the quarter and semi-finals are played at a neutral venue and the final is held at Sheffield Arena.

The Dairylea Dunkers Championship is British basketball's main prize, with the 13 clubs being spilt into two conferences on a north and south geographical basis. Clubs play teams within their own conference four times, and those in the other conference twice.
