BBL League 
The thirteen BBL teams play in three major competitions, the BBL Championship, the Uni-ball trophy and the National Cup.
The BBL Championship is British basketball's main prize, with the 13 clubs being spilt into two conferences on a north and south geographical basis. Clubs play teams within their own conference four times, and those in the other conference twice. The ultimate prize of the Championship crown is decided through cross-conference playoffs, culminating in the BBL Championship final at Wembley Arena in May. The Uni-ball trophy and National Cup are the sport's two knock-out competitions. For these the 13 BBL teams are joined by the top three sides from the lower ranking National Basketball League.
